The world holds beauty for those who are capable of understanding it.

Beauty is everywhere.

It’s in a blue sky with bright white clouds drifting by in the crisp ocean breeze. It’s in the way the sun kisses the skin with heat on a hot summer afternoon while watching the neighborhood kids play in the street. It’s in the way each pair of boots create music of their own on the wooden front porch as the dogs are wandering off in the distance. It’s in the morning coffee brew that fills the kitchen with a delicate aroma that intoxicates the lungs, helping us to awaken from our previous dreamy slumbers. It’s in the salt and lime on the tip of the tongue and anticipation on the lips from the punch of tequila that was washed away a few seconds earlier. It’s in the feeling of accomplishment and reward after a brutal workout when there was minimal desire to go into the gym and put in any effort beforehand. It’s in the little things. It’s in the big things. It’s in all things.

Beauty is everywhere.

I wish everyone could experience it. I really do.

Just a little more focus is all it takes.

Just like the seconds before the flicker of a camera lens preparing to capture a memory in time. We must not lose focus when we need it the most in this fast paced world. If we don’t focus, we will miss these infinite beautiful moments that exist all around us. They will get lost to time.

Focus.

And breathe.

Take in a nice deep breath and hold it for a moment.

Feel as the oxygen fills your lungs with life and begins to slow down the world around you.

And exhale.

It is time to find the pace of your world.

Breathe in deeply again.

And focus.

Take in the colors. Take in the feelings. Take in the sounds. Take in the aromas. Take in the tastes. Take in the emotions. Take in the energy.

Take in as much as possible.

Take in a deeper appreciation for the world.

Take in this pure moment of greater presence as one with the world.

Exhale.

These are the real moments where we wish we could have just five more minutes. Yet there is never enough time to take it all in. So we must do our best to take in as much as we can in the little time we have.

It’s those moments when the sun perfectly leaks through the canopies of the redwoods on the coast, as if a million golden lasers rain down in the softest beams of light. As the light glows and breathes with infinite glimmers of beauty. Listening to the trees sing and watching them dance amongst each other as they harmonize with the melodies that are played by the wind. As the background illuminates to reveal the lushness of the forest floor that is just as vibrant and full of life.

It’s those moments when a dear friend captivates the room as they tell a tale about something they love. Where all you want to do is just listen as they speak oceans of meaning through the combinations of vibrations that are being put out into the world. You can feel the depth that the words carry so gently as they travel from their mouth to your own ears. With the background music fading away until all you hear are the words and the heart beating in your chest. The story continues on as the stars say goodbye to the sun in that darkening night sky and all you can do is smile as you listen ever more intently to the surrounding love that exists in that room.

It’s those moments when you don’t have to think of everything at once and can simply just exist. The peace that is felt when the mind slows enough to just disconnect from all that is happening around us. Sitting in the serene energy that is being exuded by the one sitting next to you and giving you a particularly wonderful glimpse of the beautiful mind and it’s creative ability. A humble, yet sophisticated, shared solitude that takes your breath away as a greater connection is formed in that once unfamiliar space. The unspoken silence filled with a miraculously vibrant energy that resonates deep into the bones of one’s own soul that allows an ever fleeting calmness to take over the body. It’s this rare connection that is never spoken of but feels like sheer bliss as you gain wisdom by just sitting there. All while being accompanied by someone who understands the magic existing in that moment too. That moment of peace… together…..

If only we could stay here for just five more minutes.

But we must continue on just like we always do.

To search for that next fleeting moment of beauty.

Please, just a little more focus.

Breathe in.

And focus.

Find the moment in time that holds that beauty.

Exhale.

It truly is a beautiful world that we live in isn’t it?

And there is still hope for an even more beautiful world.

Hope for more beautiful memories to make with the ones we love. Hope for more beautiful souls and relationships that allow us all to grow. Hope for more beautiful connections with nature that increase our appreciation for this planet. Hope for more beautiful perspectives to understand each other and to understand beauty on a deeper level.

A more beautiful world is possible.

We will make a more beautiful world.

Breathe.

Focus.

Exhale.

Find the more beautiful world that holds beauty for those who are capable of understanding it.

Find your more beautiful world.

I believe in you.
